Pickled Sausage


1 c. white vinegar
1/2 c. water
1/4 c. white sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp.mixed pickling spices
1 med. onion, sliced
6 links smokies


Mix together first 5 ingredients and boil for 8 minutes; cool. Put smokies and onions in large glass jar. Pour
vinegar mixture over smokies. Refrigerate overnight before serving. Store in refrigerator.
